Raw Brownies ( dairy, gluten & soy free)
Raw Brownies
This makes 8 - 10 brownies
2 cups walnuts
2 cups pitted dates
1/2 tsp sea salt
6 tbsp raw cacao powder
***Blend all ingredients together in a food processor fitted with the S blade. OR a powerful blender! Press into an 8 inch pan, cut into brownie shapes, and serve. You can easily cut the recipe in half if you like.***
I loved icing these scrumptious treats
Vegan Cashew Vanilla Icing (No Powdered Sugar, No Butter)
1 cup cashews
Plant Milk of your choice ( I use Almond or Oat)
Maple Syrup ( You can also use Agave Nectar)
Vanilla Extract Or Cinnamon
***Soak Cashews in water overnight OR boil water and soak for 15 to 30 minutes*** You need them to be soft. Before you blend make sure they are dry. You can put them in a plastic bag with a paper towel and shake till dry. Blend all ingredients in blender, for milk I used about 1/4 cup all other ingredients to taste. ***
Cool in refrigerator and then frost your brownies!
